Design a Farm

We have ditched the textbooks and are working on a few projects til the end of the year.  The 7th & 8th grade classes created a book "ABC's of Math" during Stanford Testing for their first project.   The 2nd project for the 7th & 8th graders was to Design a Farm.   

Students had to determine what crops or animals they wanted on their farm.   Then had to create an animal pen or crop field with a minimum diameter and minimum area for each.
