Neosho Christian Chemistry students participated in #molympics with other schools in the United States on October 23.   Events include skills such as estimation, measurement, dimensional analysis and problem solving.

Event #1 - Tally Marks
- how long will it take to make Avogadro's number of tally marks
= 6.44 x 10^23 years

Event #2 - Mole Flip
- Determine the total number of moles of water flipped in 2 minutes
=3.5 x 10^25 atoms of water flipped in 2 minutes

Event #3 - Can you estimate a mole of something
- Estimate a mole of Aluminum Foil, Airsoft BB's, table sugar
They failed miserably on this one.

Total Time:  1 minute 13 seconds

5th Event - Mole tower
Build a freestanding tower of mini cups, then calculate the height of 1 mole of cups.
