Milk Lab Art Glue Lab Art  The Chemistry class sells Periodic Table cookies to help pay for a field trip to a local university to tour their labs and the school. Thank you to those who helped with this fundraiser. Mr. Honeycutt from Honeycutt Knife Works came and did a forging demonstration for the students. He made a knife from a railroad spike. The finished product will be available at our silent auction in the spring.
 Molympics is a free event used across the United States designed to have students work on laboratory activities involving skills such as estimation, measurement, dimensional analysis and problem solving. Chemistry classes from all over the world participated this year - including us (we even made the promotional material) Using only 2 paperclips, get the gummy lifesaver onto Fred the gummy worm. You can NOT touch anything with your hands or fingers. |
