Dr. Arthur Cronquist was born in 1919 on March 19th. He was born in San Jose, California. He moved to Oregon and Idaho in his childhood. He worked at New York Botanical Garden. He died on March 22 1992 when he was 73. I died from a heart attack in Utah. He developed the cronquist system.
