  Why we should learn about Venus. Venus is important because Venus provides a natural laboratory to study the evolution of habitability. Venus is one of the planets that doesn't  have any moons and is the second planet closest to the sun.

 Venus is actually very similar to Earth. And some people call Venus earth’s evil twin. Venus and Earth are roughly the same size and are made from many of the same materials.

 Another reason why we should study Venus is that Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system.Venus is 870 degrees Fahrenheit which is really hot! Venus actually spins slowly and spins in a different direction than most planets!  Venus was the first planet explored and was studied for the early history of earth. Venus got its name by the ancient Roman goddess of love and beauty. This is why you should study Venus!

He figured this out from using his telescope and pointing it at Venus, Galileo Galilei was the first human to see Venus.
