Science Concept & Application
My science concept is Pluto. In this paper I will be describing why we should learn about Pluto. We are trying to answer two questions. The first question is how it got its name? The second question is what do we know about Pluto's atmosphere.
Now we are going to answer how Pluto got its name. Pluto's name was thought of by an eleven year old girl. She thought of the name from the Roman god Peloton . In 2006 NASA changed the name to Pluto . Next we will answer the question: what do we know about Pluto's atmosphere? Pluto's atmosphere has five moons. The largest moon is Charon. Charon is only half the size of Pluto. We learned Pluto's name came from a 11 year old girl and NASA. We also learned that Pluto has five moons and the largest is Charon. |
Career
I am researching the planet Pluto. In order to research this for a career, I would be a Planetary Scientist. Planetary Scientists study about planets, satellites and smaller bodies in our solar system. I could get paid anywhere from eighty four thousand dollars to one hundred and ten thousand dollars a year. I could get a job at NASA, the starting pay there could be as much as one hundred and forty thousand dollars.
